To drive this growth, we’re looking for a Ventures Lead who can identify, validate, and scale new business opportunities that align with our mission.
Role Overview
The Ventures Lead will spearhead our innovation and growth initiatives, exploring new ventures that diversify our revenue streams and strengthen our market position. This role combines strategic thinking, market analysis, and hands-on execution. You’ll work closely with leadership to identify opportunities, test business models, build partnerships, and bring new offerings to life.
Key Responsibilities
Opportunity Discovery: Identify emerging trends in the repair, sustainability, and circular economy space. Spot gaps in the market and translate them into actionable business opportunities.
Business Development: Build strategic partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers, startups, and other stakeholders to expand our services and offerings.
New Revenue Streams: Design and test new business models such as subscription services, warranty/insurance add-ons, buyback/resale programs, or training workshops.
Pilot & Scale: Launch pilot projects, measure impact, and refine them into scalable, profitable ventures.
Market Research: Conduct customer, competitor, and market analysis to support decision-making and prioritize high-impact opportunities.
Collaboration: Work with operations, marketing, and finance teams to integrate new ventures seamlessly into the existing business.
Reporting: Provide clear reports and insights to leadership on venture progress, KPIs, and growth potential.
About You
Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in business development, strategy, or venture building.
Proven ability to take an idea from concept to execution.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to build financial models/business cases.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Background in repair, retail, sustainability, or circular economy sectors is a plus.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
